Hit the lake yesterday morning with Asterisk Rich and my other buddy. Got on a solid topwater bite for first few hours. Put 8-9 nice trout in the box and lost just as many. Saw one set of birds right by where we were fishing with no boats on em so trilled up to em and caught about 10-15 with only about 3 or 4 big enough to keep. Went throw tops again in another spot. Made one drift and had about 5 or 6 big blow ups so turned around and made it again. And this big girl exploded on my spook. 6 1/2 pounds, CPR'd.

You should'a kept that one............unless your right hand is bleeding.

It wasn't bad. And when I put her back in the water to start to revive her she didn't even give me a chance. Ripped her tail right out my hand. She was fine.
