Default Memorial Day Trip

Hey Guys.

Well made it out with 2 females onthe Triton Monday morning.

Cleared the pass and headed South. First stop nothing. Moved over t othe next well head, and it was a parking lot.

Headed SE. and moved to a new location...... Depthfinder lit up with fish.

Dropped my trolling motor. eased up and casted the Glow /with flake skull dugger grub.

Wham. Solid 3# 20" trout. 10 more cast. 10 HARDHEADS. Damn.

Did this for 2 more hours. Total of 7 trout.

Well I had one lady not use to the gentle seas of this past weekend. Soi I was digging for dramamine for her.

Finally I said lets go troll some of the dead water liliy patches we had seen coming out to SMI 236.

First one we come up to 3 Trips on it. Dropped a glow SKULL DUGGER, 12" under a cork right in front of him.

The 9# little blackie, takes off. Stripping drag. Second run comes out the water 3 ft. 2 minutes later he's in the net.

We spooked the other 2.

Idle over to some other lilies, their is one sunning himself next 2 a large dead lily.

One cast fish on. This one thinks he is in the omyplics, and jumps about 6' out the water and spits the hook.

ON to the next one. First cast hooked up. This one's about 15# and about 26-28'".

Well this is how it went. Hooked up to 5 fish. Saw 10 really nice trips. Put hooks in 5. Several where 2 small to even cast 2.

But what FUNNNNN.. I LOV ME HUNTING SOME TRIPS.
