I have never used the wind tamer brand the only one I have ever used and have never had any of the above problems is the Fins Shock Absorbing braid which is said to have a little stretch.

Used all brands starting to prefer the stren sonic braid over them all.

I felt that the sonic braid was really soft and squishy

I have been wanting to try the shock absorbing for my top waters. How do you like it?
