Yea we fished around catch-em-all-bar and redfish point with our kayaks. We usually did better than the guys in the skiffs. (but they got to drink more beer than us!!!) It was just a little harder to get to far off spots... not that you need to! She dogs are also killer there. I would recommend swapping out a couple of topwater bait trebles for a few with live-bait singles (just add and extra split ring) to help keep all the floating turtle grass off your lures. Other good baits would be any bass type weedless lures like texas rigged plastics, Rag’tails ect. Lots of grass out there! (at least where all the fish are!)

I had a pretty decent stringer to finish off my double limit from the morning on topwater the last evening (cept the flounder).

Yea i kinda heard about the weedless lures, I might have to break out the helicopter lure.

Good info on the hook swap, I will do that tonight. (The less hooks flying at my hands while taking a fish off wading the better.)

I just went home 4 lunch and pulled out the tackle bag and did an inventory.

Do you think a drift sock and a push pole would be good 2 bring.

I appreciate the tips.
