Oh my bad. As everyone knows you got all the marsh drains, I will make a quick pass by them and if water is moving I'll try three or four baits in the calm waters to each side of them and if they are there its good to get a some numbers but not always size. If the drains aren't flowing I normally won't even stop, well there is one I will stop at, but just cause there is always a fish in on little spot next to it. After looking at drains I'll throw a squarebill crankbait around any hard bottom on deep side of river (pea gravel, broken concrete, bolders, etc). On a normal year top water is the go to big bite bait, but this year, on the exception of one fish, it has been the crankbait.
