Just getting rain now, wind is gusting to about 40 from due north. All of the cattle are facing due south.

We been gettin' hammered with rain since 5:00. Total since midnight is now almost 10". We got 5 of 'em in the past 3 hours.

And you may not get much more because of such a slow movement. Anybody in the Baton Rouge area...it's a'comin'. It's been hammerin' here at the rate of almost 2" per hour and we got more to the east. We'll be close to 15" by mornin'.

Dont know how much more we can take. Never in 43 years have I seen the water this high on this property & we still have a long way to go!
