I have been watching the Hurricane channel on DT tv most of the day

Reason this has turned into a disaster is
#1 Its a HURRICANE
#2 Its a Slow moving Hurricane
#3 It took a more North West turn than Katrina which most of the parishes effected now were on the dirty side of the storm
#4 The storm is still going to push water into New Orleans for a another 48 to 60 Hours due to the NW track
#5 People took it for nothing and expected nothing but just when you think its nothing Mother Nature always fools us

Is that what he's tryin' to say???? Maybe he should go preach his message to all the affected parishes. I'm sure he'll get whatever answer he's lookin' for.....or, maybe not.

They just admitted on wafb they never really had a clue what this storm was going to do. They said they would chalk this one up as unpredictable!

Well, yeah...comments like this tend to offend someone who's been gettin' hammered for the past few hours.

Not only is Isaac not a tropical storm....I think you will see it upgraded from a Cat 1 in the future.

Every tropical system, whether it be a hurricane or a tropical storm, has it's own footprint. Katrina has become the standard by which Louisiana tropical systems are judged. When this "tropical storm" is done.....there might just be a new standard.

Was in the fire department when Ts. Alison Stayed over south of Houston for 3 days. Worst week of my life. Didn't compare to any of the 3 hurricanes I been thur. So yeah know a small Slow moving storm can be worse then a big one!!!!! Again I know people are getting affected by this storm. But this was supposed to be about the media foke100 miles each was making it look like they were right in the eye of the storm.

Right at this moment...I wish we were in the eye instead of this tornado warning.

Passion is a term applied to a very strong feeling about a person or thing. Compassion is the virtue of empathy for the suffering of others. Where you at?
