I tried to look up TX law and couldnt really find their law on this but it seems like I remember that if you are one or two county's into TX and you are from LA you are pretty safe with LA law but if you are traveling TX you are suppose to have gun and bullets in separate areas of car....... the way to be safest in all these situations is get your CC licenses so you can carry in your car or on yourself and have the law on your side
