That's a cool story and report. I also would love to make a trip to do that one day.

I would be just as happy doing the calling as doing the shooting.

I bet you didn't sleep much that night..... I know I couldn't have. I would have been worried about finding my Elk.

Congrats to you. You have a prize that is cherished by many Southerners....

My brother didnt even buy a license and just did all the calling. I think he enjoyed the hunt as much as I did. He thought it was pretty awesome to have an animal that large come into a call like it was a greenhead or a speck. He is an avid outdoorsman and guides both duck/goose hunting as well as fishing. He said this was one of his most memorable hunts of any animal he's taken.
