Forgot to mention the first cast of the day a popper nails a seagull in flight and down it goes as if it had been shot. Both trebbles are in the birds wing and it is mad as heck. Without touching the bird and keeping away from the snapping beak I got it released with a large R&R flipper. It was quicker and easier than I immagined. Some blood on the gunnels but ended well.

I've had my arse kicked by seagulls that are hooked
