Dig a square hole in the ground A couple feet deep are so, line hole with aluminum foil and lay in grill off the ground a few inches, cover with a piece of metal/ tin and make fire on top, seen this done plenty of times.

Guys at the deer camp did that once years back. Next trip up we brought a Cajun microwave. They couldn't believe they had wasted all that time over the years digging holes!
