what about 308? 300blk is a good round but ammo may not always be readily available. 308/7.62 ammo has been made for close to 60 years and there is plenty. 300blk was pretty much made because it can be suppressed well. good for short range but thats about it.

From his profile pic, I'm guessing he only knows about "short" range weapons. The .300 blackout is an ok round, but not nearly as versatile as a .308. I own both and if one had to get dumped, it would be the .300 blackout.
