I never had any burnt issues. If you use a good wax, and keep moving, you shouldn't have any problems.
Collinite is probably one of the best. But I keep my boats out of the sun. So I don't have to wax as often. I have a 32 year old Chris Craft and the hull looks less than 10 years old. Every couple of years, I wax with 3M Cleaner Wax with a high speed buffer, then polish with an orbital polisher and Rejex polish. Salt water runs right off of her. Shine lasts a long time. |
