Anyone ever fish and put 25lb limits in the boat all while temps are so low your equipment is freezing? It's crazy their reels are freezing and ice is a threat to their lines.

Best weight I ever had was a January club tourney on Toledo. Had 3 fish that went 21 lbs. Smallest was 5 1/2 and biggest was 8 3/4. Guy that caught the 8 lost one at the boat that was over 10. It was 19 degrees when we blasted off that morning. Had to keep dipping our rods in the water to get the ice off the guides.
