SR are designed like that for RH users, it's very efficient. Cast and hold with the right, flip bail and reel with left - you'll notice with the string on top of the revolution the bail is at the closest and easiest point to open with your left hand then fling with the right. You never have to switch hands - switch the handle on the reel to the right side and you are hand swapping and doing the ol reach around to open the bail.
