Marine Audio Suggestions?

I just tried to get 2 JLs mounted in the forward rod boxes in my BJ, but the shop was unable to get the wires to the front and wanted to cut an access hole in the starboard side of the boat to fish wires up front. Have you gotten yours installed? How?
