minn kota on board charger

when i plug in my on board charger(36v) charger says check connection on 1,2, and 4. all connections are good. does this mean charger is bad or another problem? thanks!

Did you check the in-line fuses? I used to have a MK charger and the fuses In the leads burned out on me before

Also how old are your batteries?might be time for new ones

Make sure your batteries have some charge. These chargers are digital and will not charge a fully dead battery. You might have to use an old fashion charger to charge the battery then put it back on the on-board charger. At least, this is what happened to me.
