Not all early models had water intrusion problems, probably because each one has a different layout. For instance, I don't have a front baitwell because I opted to have them modify the console so I could put a movable ice chest there as a fishbox to save deck space. My baitwell is in the rear which, when used, adds considerable weight to the rear of the boat, then when I get two guys back there fishing off the back of the boat, there is some water intrusion. It's not bad and as soon as I get up on plane, it disippates quickly. I can't fault them, they have been more than accomodative with me. They recognized that some of their customers had a problem and came up with a solution. Can't argue with that. How many manufacturers would warranty a product that is six years old? If and when I get another boat, it will certainly be a Frontier.
If you've got a problem, contact them. They are very willing to help their customers, but unless you call them, how can they know you've got a problem?
