Yea we had a good day, they were calling for 80% chance of rain, and when I whoke up there were storms everywhere on the radar, but it was was my only day off this week so I forced it. Poored down rain in the dark heading south in the ship channel. Then let up about 30 min. before sun-rise, pulled into the area and saw bait & clean water and knew it was about to be on. Storms were all around us all morning but we never got wet. As a Good Old Fishing Buddy Once Said, " why check the weather? You will not know until you get on the lake." Shaunnesy
