I have this one in my boat. Waterproof up to 6' If it goes overboard, it floats light pointing up so you can find it easier.

For night time boat travel, I use a 300,000 candle power 12volt Q-beam hand held light. I really lights up the water out in front of my boat.

I have had this light for 25+ years and it has been with me on 250+ trips. When the light bulb quit working, I replaced it with a car headlight. This light bulb gives off plenty of light to spot stump, logs, alligators, etc. at 100+ yards away.
