I used to always see the hippies at my in-laws bar drinking it because it was $1. I can't knock it too much because I can vividly remember sipping my old man's Schiltz. Not to mention it is the largest American owned brewery left. IIRC from an article in BusinessWeek a family bought the name and has Miller actually brewing it using the original recipe........ Hell, I think I just talked myself into picking up a 6 pack after work!

haha yea the first time I tasted beer it was an old milwaukee's my buddy swiped from his dad's fridge ... damn near ruined me lol
