I made a potato gun that shot potatos 1,500 feet. It was pretty bad ***, we started putting trace rounds in them, we would put a sweet potato with a glow stick on the back side, aquanet hair spray....... thing would glow at night when you hit the trigger. Good times.

Try making a wad with newspaper or paper bags and put a golf ball in it.
