Seen a guy once at Quintana Landing trying to trailer his brand new 22ft Kenner. He got sideways between the two warfs (perpendicular to his trailer). He ripped off his swim ladder on the warf behind him and then got nervous, gunned it and dry docked it on the opposite warf. There was no feathing the throttle...it was hammer down or nothing! I gave him a hand getting if off of the warf and he asked me if I would mind getting it on the trailer it for him. I pulled his boat up of the trailer and jumped out and got back in my boat. I looked back and watched him get out the boat and pull it up the ramp dragging the skeg all the way up the ramp. When he got it completely out of the water he jumped out of his truck cracked up the engine and then trimmed up the motor. I felt kinda sorry for the guy cuz his wife was barking at him the whole time. I once saw a kid doing 55mph pulling a boat trailer, 10 ft behind the trailer was his boat skidding on the road still hooked to the winch strap. I couldn't flag him down cuz he was headed in the opposite direction. I beleive he figured it out sooner or later.
