Outboard 89 or 93

I just sold my 1984 Yamaha 150 outboard and the guy called last night about what kind of oil and gas did i run all these years. The mechanic was amazed at the compression on the old motor. All i ran was regular and that's what was recommended when i bought the motor. First one in the area and only ran yamalube through the motor. Carbs been cleaned 4 or 5 times. Still kickin!

Premium for high performance, high compression motors. Will running premium make ur motor faster? No. There's no need to burn anything else but ol reg gas unless ur motor is hot.
