I made these setups. Completely self contained and run off rechargeable AA's. I absolutely love em. They work very well. Had em side by side to a $600 dive light on Saturday, and they were almost as bright, way lighter, and more ergonomic. Cost about $90 in parts to build one. I would tweak the design a bit if I made another batch tho. If you gonna build one, holler at me. I can save you some time and $.
