I don't care what B S they try to say, there is absolutely no reason they cant make a 30-40mpg full size full power truck when they are making 40 & 50mpg cars.

my 1998 full size chevy Silverado with a v8 small block 350 engine gets 19mph & 21 highway pulling the boat doing 70mph with the a/c on which is way better then all of the new trucks out there that only get 16 & 17 mpg new when not pulling a trailer. if I bought a new truck today it would get the same 15mpg that my 1974 c-10 pickup used to get so whats up with that? why buy new to get WORSE gas mileage?

they havent produced a better gas mileage truck since the 1970's when they got 12-15mpg
