They look great.
You may want to lay another 2x4 on top of the other one. If you do that you can cut into it when cutting something and when the board is cut up to much you just change it out

THIS^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
lay the top board w/ 2 sunk screws .
