Personally I feel safer handling(drawing and holstering) my glock than my 1911 cocked and locked. Just something about looking at the hammer in the cocked position.

Cocked locked and ready to rock. When at a match the only time you could have a loaded gun was when it was your turn to shoot. I had a 2lb triggrt pull on the 1911 then. That trigger was sweet.

I bet it was!!! The 1911 are really fun at the range but like you said earlier, I prefer to carry one of my glocks. Got a glock 43 about 6 weeks ago and have carried it everyday since. It's surprisingly accurate at the range as well as being small and light for a 9mm.
