Water Steady Falling in Henderson

Went to the basin near Bayou Benoit last Sunday. Some places black water. Other places OK. No real fish to speak of.

did they open the locks or is it naturally falling that fast?

we tried Benoit last Thursday, tried to fish in what is normally 3 ft, but was actually 11 ft. gave up. no black water, but also no fish, I'm sure they are in the woods.
