Let me add one thing to my post from yesterday. I fished Galveston Bay for 18 years (about 5-6 times a month) and while any decent sized body of water near 4 million people is going to see a lot of traffic you can always find a spot or two to yourselves. Galveston bay is an incredible Trout and Flounder fishery and the TPWD has done an incredible job managing it. The redfish fishing is for the most part stupid easy and some days it's hard to find the trout because of them. If you get a map of the bay PM me and I'll share a few spots with you!
