I would jump on a 24' frontier in a heartbeat.
I do like Bluewave boats, but sounds like QC has been a real issue. Also, their warranty is questionable on buy used guide boats, which most of the used bluewave's available are 1-2 year old guide boats. I am leaning towards the Bullsbay 2200 and I am going to check out the new Seapro boats. I have taken a look at some used boats, a couple of maybes out there. I still have a charter scheduled for the 8th, and I am working on credit for a another, so I have some time and still get some fishing in. I would like a 24' boat, but a 22' boat will do just fine for years to come. |

I've got a 2nd year guide boat trade in...had it for over 2 years. No issues with build quality except one hatch in the deck in front of the console that takes a lot of force when stepping down from the front deck...more flex than I like so I plan on a little surgery on it this winter. Other than that it is a great boat. I know I have some warranty left on the Yammy 250 but I did not ask about the hull/components. If you go through the boat thoroughly before you buy you should be able to spot any real problems. I am hypercritical when it comes to my boats and the PB2400 really has satisfied me thus far.
