So...the heaviest estimate was 42#, which, by TRUE fisherman's math would be 45# (at least!). In two years the story will told of catching 50# reds. My advice is to go with 50# now...why wait?

That reminds of the time about 25 years ago I was catching 180# yellowfin...until the seas got over 12ft. Had to come back to port at that point.
