I went with a buddy of mine in Lake Salvador to run some juglines with live crawfish.... we caught redfish, catfish, croaker and even a couple speckled trout, I couldn't believe and I wouldn't have if I didn't bait the hooks. |

I do some jug-fishing in southwest La. but I have never used live crawfish...usually cut Buffalo or chicken heart. Using live crawfish is something that I would like to try. How exactly do you hook them. When I was a kid my dad and I used live crawfish for gasper goo but it's been so long I forgot how to rig them.

We've used live crawfish to catch redfish and drum. Gotta try them for catfish.
