I have caught bass in there. I saw my buddy pull a big redfish out of there, too.
My Dad says he and my Grandpa used to fish it all the time with buzzbaits.
It's known as Black Bayou, but that gets confusing with the other Black Bayou...

That is Bayou Hypolite...Black Bayou is further down.
