Yep except I don't like sugar in mine. Get your oven heated but also get that skillet hot on the stove top before you pour the batter in. You get that little fry on the bottom crust that is awesome. At least to me.

Big C...that is almost what I do except I use buttermilk, add a teaspoon of Vanilla Extract and I substitute the vegetable oil with bacon grease; and I always use a black iron skillet. C'est des bon manger...that's some good eating...
