One that I threw back was a tequila sunrise color.
Yeah, we were enjoying the different patterns and colors on these little suckers.

We were using 5'6" Berkley Cherrywood light-action spinning rods and small spinning reels. I had forgotten how much fun this could be.

Live or artificial baits?

Latt, as I was idling down the 45 canal as I was leaving...so many people fishing that I could not get up on plane for very long...everyone I noticed were using artificial...I saw a lot of chartreuse jigs. I do believe that this time of year they will bite on just about anything. I was using chartreuse/black with a 1/32 jig head.
