There is plenty of spots the only problem is private land. Black Lake is a good area just know were you are. May be a long haul in a kayak.
I don't know north side of Lake Charles and Prien Lake but may be some good spots. Plenty of great drifts in Big Lake. I've caught some trout like that too.
