Where were the trout today?

A buddy and I fished out of cypremort point today.
Fished the cove on the way out and on the way in
Tried weeks bay
Tried some cuts and banks in weeks bay
Tried some areas of shark bayou
Tried blue point area
And tried around the camps
No trout or reds
Not sure what the deal was
Maybe all that rain
Tasted water in shark bayou and it was super fresh

I went fish off the bank at the point,caught 2 trout and a red,talked to a guy picking uo his kyak at the beach ,he had 12 trout ,saw a guy ancored at the mouth oh shark bayou catch a couple of trout and had a buddy send me a picture of a guy holding two trout that looked to be 5#er in front of dagos yesterday and had a bunch of nice trout in ice chest,caught in cove.

I was out there yesterday. got to the mouth of the quintana... do i go left and get beat by the wind, or right and stay in canals and stay out of the wind.

Well i took a right, no trout but got a limit of reds and a bass. went to the mouth of shark bayou and had enough of the wind so i left.

I saw the guy posing with his fish in front of dagos when I passed!

Had a buddy yesterday that went in his yak in the cove somewhere, had 25 fished from 9-12, he had 2 fish that went 5 if not over 5lbs

this is the guy I speak of, he had some solid fish.

I fished weeks bay Tuesday, water was decent and had good schools of bait, dropped 1 trout at the boat and landed 3 red fish.

Fished the cove Wednesday in my kayak and got chased off by storms. Maybe a little over 2 hrs fishing time.
