Deffinately do some research on the two club sites before purchasing, and As yak'em said their are plenty people out there that are willing to let you tag along and use their extra yak. Buying the right boat the first go round is always better. The demo days are great for trying out multiple brands and you can save some money by buying a used/demoed one.
