The cops are the experts on the current criminal trends. If they have determined that a “high capacity” semiautomatic pistol and a .223 semiautomatic rifle with 30-round magazines are the best firearms for them to use to protect people like me and my family, they are obviously the best things for us to use to protect ourselves and our families .

Dear Lord, all of us saltycajuns tonight pray not only as outdoorsman but believers in the power of your healing hands.

We lift up LaAnglers family and ask for a healing touch to his step dad and all of the friends and family of this gentleman. Dear Lord, we know that your healing powers come in different ways and sometimes we do not understand but we ask for a calming and peaceful healing for all involved. And we also ask that you embrace LaAnglers mom and give her strength and a clear path of understanding to make any decisions for the healing of her beloved husband through these troubled waters. AMEN.....

Well he has to finish surgery wednesday at lunch, has had 1 year battle w stomach cancer but was in remission, just more complications from original surgery at md anderson. I may hit waffle house then try to rest, mom is holding up.

He was doing very well until this starting sunday.

Prayers are helping I think. Very sad, health is everything.

i had thyroid cancer when i was 16. had to have my thyroid removed. u right it sucks. prayers sent!

bruce------you got an update?? keepin you, your step dad, and your family in our prayers! i watched my mother go through this 10 years ago its tough but trust me the prayers work were all rootin for him!!

yes he woke up for a sec, off respirator, now coming off of the sedatives. not out of the woods but cautiously optimistic. no signs of cancer left, if we could just get his insides to heal up and strengthen up.

still has a chance at some good quality of life! i'm heading back over to visit tomorrow, had to come in to take care of few things today.
