The Droid seems awesome but how is the Verison network? I would like to make the switch. The iphone is the greatest hand held computer period but as a phone it can def be improved.

verizon's coverage here in southwest La. is not so hot...there is alot of dead spots...if you staying in town and close to I-10 you shouldnt have a problem.....but they just bought centennial and hopefully within a few months should have decent coverage in the marsh and lakes....i've had verizon since 03 and never had a problem till i moved back to SWLA......in 2 yrs when my at&t contract is up i'll switch back to verizon if the coverage is there...

what are the MUST HAVE apps for the iphone?
