I am near lafayette, the only places i know are well are dularge and vermilion bay and both are way too fresh and way too muddy plus way too much open water. Ive never fished Empire and I would like to give it a try. I 'm not a big fan of cold either plus it looks like the tide wont start moving till 8 or 9 anyways.
