It had a small nub and a real small leg. I guess the muscles was small from not being able to use them. I picked the bird up and looked at it and thought 'that's weird' so I moved the feathers around looking for the leg and it was no where to be found. Lol Looks like it been like that for a while. Wonder how it happened. My luck it probably had a band on it. Lol

I killed a speck first split that was a recent amputee. Leg missing from about half way down. Wound looked about a week old.

End of the season is already here guys . Will be hunting GC Friday, Sat and Sunday. Not looking that great with all that water...will have to hunt the grass where there are a few birds working...no blind hunting this weekend for us. Good luck everyone! Hey DGG, give me a pm.

Shouldn't duck season start in the middle of December and end the last weekend of Feb? I think more Ducks are down here then than in Novemeber.

Where we hunt it was loaded down with ducks since teal season and our first spilt was great. Come second spit it slowed down a little for us for the most part but we still been doing pretty good.

Solo hunt in grass, previously no water. Water was balls deep or so... Hunt was in GC. After limit was done... Watch blue wings land in decoys for a good while.. They back!

Ducks gone today, I checked 3 flooded areas on out lease yesterday. All 3 holding birds, today.... Gone!!! Maybe will be back tommorrow...
