For good Chinese go to Asia in the L'auberge Casino. The real Asians eat there a lot.
And Peking Garden on Broad. They have the most food you can put on a plate and it is great. There is also a new Chinese next to West marine called JoJo's. All of these are cook to order, not buffet. Mazens is good, but it takes forever to get your food. I like Pat's steaks and seafood. I love crab's, cooked any way. They have a great crab platter I eat every time I go there. Can't beat the Po-boys at Lenards or Darrels. There are good places that serve plate lunches too. One is Cajun Cafe, just East of Ryan, 1 road South of I-10. Another is Billideaux's(spelling) on 90 just East of 14. Cocohoes has fantastic hamburgers.

Nina P's is only decent food, but it's a slightly upscale hooters. For a good dinner I would say prolly Pats of Henderson. But if you want real food on a weekday or something, try Bill's at the corner of common and mcneese st. Of course darrells is prolly bout the best poboy joint around.
