Nice pics. It's pretty cool you were able to find the nest. I just recently found a new eagle's nest near my grandma's house. The Indiana DNR bought a large piece of property and turned into back into a wetlands area and there seems to be more and more eagles showing up every year.

Pretty cool. Starting to see them regularly around Lake Verret/Pierre Part. Saw 2 while fishing Petite Amite about a year ago both about 30 feet above the water.

Friend of mine sent me these pic's last year. Taken in Toledo Bend. Actually have them on my screen saver. Very impressive bird.
