I will take a look at the collar but I think I will also look at purchasing that RAM - Just for some insurance.

I have the ram mount for my Ipilot, pretty solid and I feel much better hauling down LA roads with it secured with it. I was scared to damage it until I got that installed.

I have had my ipolit since Nov and have trailered my boat over 1000 miles since then and no issues so far.
