Just personal preference. If I have a 25' boat I will be offshore in it on choice days. And I would rather have 2 150s than 1 300. Just my preference.

I've ridden on a couple of 26 foot Shearwaters. Both of those had a single Yamaha V8 350. That is a very similar boat, and the Yami was the perfect size to pick it right up. But I think trim tabs are a must.

If your near the 100k range for a bay boat do yourself a favor and check out the Barker

Your right, no need for it bay fishing ! Would never go offshore without a twin or a buddy boat without twins..

I'm just glad he finally removed the trip hazard off the front deck. I hated that design.

From the pictures of the deck it seems the layout isn't any different then any other mainstream bayboat. Center rear livewell, rear jumpseats, front dry storage and rod storage.

That boat does have some dang good looking lines. Beautiful boat for sure. I'd give my left stone for the 224. I'd have to ask the wife if I can sell them first though. Stones that is
