I use a stick-it-anchor. It is an 8' solid Fiberglas rod. I use mine all the time, and love it. The only down fall is when it is windy (over 15mph), it will not hold my boat (I have a wide 19' CC). They're priced right $80ish depending on where you get it. I plan on getting another one to help in positioning the bow in the correct position, and also when the wind is bad.
Good luck Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

When I went to South Carolina to purchase my Triton... The boat broker recommended the SEA CLAW... I have a 12# with bronze fluke and stainless steel shank... I use 4' of rubber coated chain..
It holds my triton in big wind, waves, in every bottom I fish.... My anchor sells for $150. For a 12# small anchor to hold my boat in all conditions I've fished it, is amazing... I spoke to owner of company in florida. His is one of the best tarpon fishing guides in Florida..... He told me to try his anchor and if it wasn't the BEST I've used he would take it back... I was SOLD after using it about 3 trips...He's now making a lot of different sizes and using stainless flukes as an options. Just FYI GUYS... The best Anchor in the world will not work without a length of chain.. |
