I had a friend who dipped, but didn't buy. When hunting ducks, he would always bum Skoal. He never brought any with him. One day while hunting, I took a dip and he held his hand out to take the can. I gave it to him and he took a dip.
When I was finished and there was no more taste in the Skoal, I put it back in the can and popped it a few times to mix it up with the new Skoal. He never asked for a dip from me again.

I used to dip also, One time me and my buddies were playing pool and all drinking budweiser. There was only one drink table near the pool table, so all the empties, and full boddles were getting stacked up there. Well one of my buddies was dipping and spitting in a boddle, and placed it on the table to go shoot, and i accidently drank from his boddle.... I have never taken a dip since.

Hey rob,
Ya see that youngn sittin on your lap?
being there to watch em grow is all the incentive ya need ta quit.
That's what made me quit 13 years ago. mine was 10 when he came in from playing and told his mom and i that we needed to quit cause he didn't want us to die. we set a date and quit. just watched him get married last month and at the reception i thanked him for asking us to quit. My wife just asked when she could expect to become a grandma.
