I got a Hobie Mirage Pro Angler 12 from Pack & Paddle in Lafayette. It's a bit pricey but it's super sturdy and it allows you to use the foot pedals to move. This keeps your hands free for doing other things like fishing, drinking, or having your camera ready for photo ops of friends falling out of their yaks. Haha. Ask for Skip at Pack & Paddle. He's awesome and loves getting anglers set up as best as possible for their upcoming trips. He'll also tell you of cheaper ways to do things. Honestly cares about the customer.

That's a sweet yak... Looks comfy even for a big fella like myself.
